Prof. Munir Majdalawieh is a distinguished academic leader, executive educator, and higher education strategist with more than 35 years of experience driving organizational transformation, innovation, entrepreneurship, and revenue growth across universities and industry in both the United States and the United Arab Emirates.
He currently serves as Executive Director of Professional and Continuing Education (PaCE) at Zayed University, where he successfully transformed the institute into a dynamic and financially sustainable center for executive education, professional certification, and lifelong learning. Under his leadership, PaCE established strategic partnerships with government entities, industry leaders, and international organizations, creating new opportunities for workforce development, executive training, and professional advancement.
Throughout his academic career, Prof. Majdalawieh has held numerous leadership positions including Department Chair, Assistant Dean, Director, and Advisor to senior university leadership. He is widely recognized for building innovative educational programs, forging high-impact partnerships, and advancing entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystems within higher education institutions. His work has led to the development of executive programs, micro-credentials, industry certifications, and workforce development initiatives that prepare professionals for the demands of a rapidly evolving digital economy.
As former Chair of Information Systems and Technology Management, he established pioneering entrepreneurship and innovation initiatives, strengthened industry-academic collaboration, and contributed significantly to student success, graduate employability, and institutional excellence. His expertise spans digital leadership, innovation management, strategic partnerships, executive education, entrepreneurship, and organizational transformation.
